4th and 5th Year Ski Tour February Mid-Term 2024
During the February Mid-Term Break, 58 students from 4th and 5th year visited the Pontedilegno – Tonale ski resort in Northern Italy. They stayed in the beautiful village of Ponte Di Legno and a huge thank you goes out to the nine teachers who accompanied the lads.
Over the course of the week, the boys worked eagerly to try and improve their skiing. Their enthusiasm was highlighted by the instructors who were hugely complementary of the behaviour, passion and humility that the lads had shown. The stellar level of effort in their 6 hour ski lessons culminated in a visit to the panoramic Presena Glacier. Known as Paradise to the locals, this ski area is an outstanding 3000 metres above sea level!
The behaviour and attitude from the boys away from the slopes was impeccable throughout their time in Italy which made it a wonderful experience for everyone. The lads are lucky to be in a position to be a part of such a memorable trip so we hope that they appreciate the effort their parents have put in to get them there. The feedback from students and parents has been hugely positive.
