Mock Oral Irish Exams 2023
Dear Students / Parents / Guardians ,
The Mock Oral Irish Exams will take place in the school from Monday 6th March – Monday 13th March . ( See attached PDF )
The Irish Department have sourced an experienced external examiner . This is a fantastic opportunity for the lads to have the experience of doing an oral exam a number of weeks before their actual oral exam .
As you are aware the Irish Oral accounts for 40% of the overall mark in Irish .
With this in mind, attendance at the mock oral exam is mandatory . All students are expected to be at the Prayer Room five minutes before their allocated time .
If there is an issue with a student being unable to attend , we ask that he emails his Irish teacher promptly .
Unfortunately, due to the large number of students and the time pressure involved, it will not be possible for a student to sit his Mock Oral Exam at a later date.
