Student Focus Group for PE Inspection
Dear Students/Parents/Guardians,
We will have a Physical Education Subject Inspection in the school on the 13th and 14th of May. A number of students will be invited to volunteer to take part in a focus group.
The Code of Practice for the Inspectorate (2022) states that the Inspectorate will ‘seek and give due weight to the views and opinions of learners, according to their age and maturity’.
During subject inspections, therefore, we respect students’ rights by providing them with space to share their views, voice by listening to what they say, audience by giving what they say due weight as part of an empowering process, and influence by taking into account what they say.
