Under 14 Hurlers
Congratulations and well done to our under 14 hurlers who competed in the Fr Alec Reid tournament in Abbotstown yesterday. Our lads had some fantastic games throughout the day and following group and semi final stage victories over Thurles CBS and a last minute goal to beat Nenagh CBS, qualified for the final.
St. Mary’s CBS from Belfast emerged victorious over Naas CBS in final and won the Alec Reid shield.
Hard luck to the lads in the final but it was a great display of skill and effort by the lads. Thanks to the tournament organisers.
The U14 hurling team will take part in the Edmund Rice tournament in March.
