Leaving Certificate 2024 – Schedule of Examination Dates.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We spoke to 6th Year students this morning during Assembly in preparation for a busy few months ahead. Christmas Reports for 6th Year students will be live on the school app on Friday 12th of January. We have advised the lads to sit down with their parents over the weekend to read and discuss their reports. It is important at this time of the year to reflect on their progress to date and to finalise subject levels.
Mock Exams for 6th Year students will begin on Monday 29th of January and will run until Friday 9th of February. Directly after the Mid – Term Break mock oral exams for Irish and modern foreign languages will take place .
The Leaving Certificate Oral examinations in Irish and modern foreign languages will take place during the first week of the Easter break commencing on Saturday 23rd of March.
Please see the attached PDF from the State Examinations Commission which outlines key dates for practical examinations and the remaining Leaving Certificate projects. Please note that school study will recommence for 6th Year students next Monday. Mr Joyce will post a notice on the app in relation to study over the coming days.
