Senior Art Students’ Trip to Hugh Lane Gallery
The 5th and 6th Year Art Students enjoyed a wonderful trip to see ‘Andy Warhol: Three Times Out’ at the Hugh Lane Gallery, Dublin on Wednesday 15th November. The students were given a tour of the exhibition by an excellent guide and saw some of Warhol’s most famous pieces such as his Marilyn Monroe screenprints, Brillo boxes and Campbell’s Soup Cans. Warhol is one of the most important and recognisable artists of the 20th Century and all the students thoroughly enjoyed their visit to see his iconic work.
