T.Y. German Exchange April 2024: Creating Memories Across Borders
From April 17th to 24th, Naas CBS welcomed students from Philipp Freiherr von Boeselager Realschule in Ahrweiler, Germany, for an enriching exchange.
Immersed in Irish culture, the German students bonded with their host families, explored Co. Wicklow’s Avondale Treetop Walk and admired Dublin’s skyline from Croke Park. Weekends were filled with many adventures. On Tuesday our German visitors learned how to play Gaelic Football, which they enjoyed immensely. The training session was planned and conducted by the Irish students on site. In the end, there was even an exciting game in which mixed teams competed against each other.
