VEX Robotics Schools Competition
On Monday, our VEX Robotics Team were once again invited up to Goatstown Educate Together Secondary School for a ‘friendly’ end of year scrimmage. We were delighted to be joined by St. Mary’s Holy Faith Secondary School from Killester this year. The day comprised of a mixture of driver skills challenges, open competition and an extremely competitive game of robot x’s and o’s. The lads showed their determination to win time and time again. It was a wonderful day of Robotics and a fantastic way to end another successful year.
I’d like to acknowledge this wonderful group of lads, they have worked tirelessly over the past few years to get this club up and running. Their commitment, hard work and ability to problem solve on the spot combined with their great sense of humour have made Robotics a joy to be a part of.
