Senior Cycle Music visits the National Concert Hall
This week our 5th and 6th year Music classes had the opportunity to travel to the National Concert Hall in Dublin for a wonderful morning of music.
The National Concert Hall is the home of classical music and performance in Ireland. The students attended ‘Music in the Classroom’ and heard Berlioz’s ‘Symphonie Fantastique’ being performed which is on the Leaving Certificate exam. It was a great opportunity to see and hear instruments live and learn about the main elements of the Symphony.
