1st Year Gaelic Footballers Win the Niall McDonnell Memorial Competition
The 1st Year Gaelic Footballers travelled to the end-of-year blitzes at the Louth Centre of Excellence and Hawkfield. The team was unlucky to be defeated in the semi-final of the Louth competition but went on to win the Niall McDonnell Memorial Competition in Hawkfield. The final was a tight and tense game, in which Naas CBS won 4–3 on penalties.
Congratulations to all of the team; it was a great way to finish off the year. Mrs. Egan and Mr. Fitzpatrick would also like to compliment the students for their conduct during the year, which was exemplary.
