Important Reminder RE Exam Fees for Junior and Leaving Certificate Exams 2026
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Examination entry fees have been re- introduced for the 2026 state examinations. Leaving Certificate Fee – €116. Junior Cycle Fee – €109.
The State Examinations Commission( SEC) will facilitate payment of fee/application for medical card exemption via an online portal – https://fees.examinations.ie/ The portal will be open from 2pm on Thursday 19th March – 5pm Thursday 30th April 2026.
Each candidate has been provided with individual letters with log in details to access the portal.The letters have been distributed to 3rd and 6th year students.
Please note that the closing date is this Thursday.
