T.Y. P.E. Expo
On 30th April a group of 48 T.Y. students attened the 2026 P.E. Expo at the Sport Ireland Campus in Dublin. The event is similar to the young scientist competition in format with students completing projects under one of nine broad themes.
There were four Naas CBS entries on the day but unfortunately we did not win any prizes. Surrounding the project displays were representatives and development officers from over 30 activities and sports. Our students had opportunities to take on challenges, get information and try out activities including fencing, vr golf, paddle and orienteering.
A very succesful day ended with a presentation including interactive experiments from ‘Mark the Sciene Guy’ (who features on YouTube) related to LCPE topics such as energy systems.
